About me

Dr. Kashaf Sherafgan graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College in 2000 and then worked at Shifa International Hospital Islamabad. Soon after she moved to the USA in 2004. She started her career by doing basic science and clinical research at Mount Sinai Hospital New York. She then did her internship in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital followed by General Surgery residency at Tulane University New Orleans and graduated in 2010. She initially was in private practice in New Orleans, followed by pursuing a clinical instructor role at Mount Sinai Medical Center, NY. She later moved to Tucson where she resumed private practice. She has held clinical surgical faculty positions at Tulane University, Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine NY and is currently Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at at Still University AZ. She is specialized in Advanced Minimally Invasive Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery. Her areas of expertise also include oncologic surgery for breast and colorectal cancer. She recently completed a Cosmetic Plastic Surgery fellowship from American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and is currently working in San Diego, California. She has strong interests in charity work including surgeries specifically oncologic and reconstruction for indigent populations.
