Dr. Asjad Sardar completed his M.B.B.S from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore. He then went to United Sates to pursue higher education and completed Internal Medicine residency at St. Barnabas Hospital affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College, NY. After completing his residency he practiced both outpatient and hospital medicine for 6 years. He then moved on to pursue a career in Nephrology and completed his fellowship in general Nephrology at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, TX. He then completed his fellowship in Transplant Nephrology at University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. He has been working as an assistant professor of medicine at University of Arizona since July 2015 and a partner at private practice group in Tucson, AZ. Dr. Asjad Sardar is American board certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology and American Society of Transplant (AST) certified in Transplant Nephrology. His areas of interest are management of hypertension, chronic kidney disease and evaluation and management of patients before and after kidney transplantation. Dr. Asjad Sardar believes in providing compassionate and comprehensive kidney care with particular attention on keeping the patient involved in their care by effective and timely communication.
