About me

I graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore Pakistan in 2006. I finished my Internal Medicine training at Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. I then worked as a hospitalist for 4 years in Marshfield Clinic, Wisconsin. I then pursued my training in Endocrinology and Metabolism at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. I am currently practicing Endocrinology at Duke University Hospital. I see patients with obesity, diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, hyperlipidemia across broad spectrum of endocrine. I have special interest in adrenal disorders including Primary Aldosterone’s. Endocrine disorders are complex, and my goal is to make sure that I explain the disease process and management plan in detail to the patient and their family because better understanding leads to better outcomes. In my free time, I love cooking, road trips, exploring and reviewing restaurants, and spending time with my family.
