Dr. Nusrum Iqbal graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College, Lahore and completed his residency at District of Columbia General Hospital (Georgetown University) in Washington, DC, USA. He was appointed as an Associate Professor Medicine at Lahore Medical and Dental College, Lahore in 2001. Later moved back to United States of America and established his private Medical Practice and got faculty position at Midwestern University as Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine for ten years. He was actively involved in medical resident teaching through the residency program at SVRHC. During his tenure at Sierra Vista Regional Health Center in Arizona, he served as a Department of Medicine Chair for 6 years and later got elected a Board of Trustee of the hospital as well. Dr. Nusrum Iqbal joined Cogent HMG hospitalist group as Program Medical Director and continued his leadership role at the Sierra Vista regional Health Center and Midwestern University, Arizona. He later moved to Tucson and joined Elrio Community Health Center and then Sound Physicians at St Joseph’s Hospital, Tucson, Arizona.

Founder Of MD Health Center:

Dr. Nusrum Iqbal founded MD Health Center in the late part of year 2021 after realizing the importance and need of being connected with patients and the community. As Chief Executive Officer, he provides strategic vision and leadership to the organization. His vision for the virtual and physical medical care is, to be the leader in improving quality patient care and reducing the cost of healthcare for patients in communities. He would like to connect his organization with local hospitals, community clinicians, pharmacies, diagnostics, and laboratories so the patients can have an easy access and regular close follow ups. Usually, patients spend hours waiting for their physician appointments thus wasting time and money in traveling for visiting their physicians. MD Health Center services will provide an easy and convenient approach in connecting patients with their doctors both virtually as well as at the physical sites in local areas. As a physician leader, Dr. Iqbal is dedicated to creating better career opportunities for clinicians as well while also advancing quality and satisfaction outcome for patients. He would like to build a team of physicians in local areas to provide the same standard of care to patients which are practiced in the United States of America. Dr. Iqbal currently serves as Chief Executive officer of MD Health Center, Lahore, Pakistan and MD Health Care (Pvt) Limited. He is also the Chief Executive Officer of the Advanced Telemed Physicians, LLC in United States of America. He has a vast experience in leadership skills and is a strong advocate for patient quality care and is passionate about continuing medical education.
